Can I Resubmit Previously Published Work?


This is a question we get asked a lot at Chill Subs, because there still seems to be a huge grey area around what constitutes “previously published”, what the rules are around resubmitting work, and why it’s apparently such an issue with editors.

The short answer is: yes, you can.

The longer answer is: it depends on a lot of factors (which we’ll get into shortly).

But before we answer that question more fully, let’s ask this one first:
